Physical Therapist – Contract

Cincinnati, OH (Mt. Healthy Area) | Healthcare / Post-Acute & Senior Care | Monday – Friday | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Compensation: $45.00 – $50.00/hour

Employment: Contract (13 Weeks)

About the Opportunity

A well-established, faith-based senior living community in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a contract Physical Therapist for a 13-week engagement. The facility is known for its person-centered approach to care, stable team culture, and strong operational support. This is a day-shift, Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend requirements.

What You'll Do

• Screen, evaluate, and re-evaluate patients in accordance with physician-directed plans of care
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide discharge planning and coordinate transitions of care
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals and outcomes
• Adhere to all state, federal, and facility licensure and compliance requirements

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Ohio Physical Therapist license (required — no exceptions)
• Experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or senior living setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage an independent caseload from evaluation through discharge
• Experience supervising or directing Physical Therapy Assistants
• Strong clinical documentation skills; familiarity with SNF billing and Medicare Part A/B a plus
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills
• Completion of all required pre-employment screenings and credentialing
