Job Description:

Master Builder – Fabrication & Welding

Sharonville, OH | Manufacturing – Capital Equipment | Monday – Friday | Day Shift

Compensation: $22.00 – $26.00 / hour

Employment: Full-Time / Direct Hire

About the Opportunity

A well-established, century-old capital equipment manufacturer in the Greater Cincinnati area is adding a skilled Master Builder to their shop floor team. This company engineers and builds custom industrial machinery — no two jobs are identical. You'll be joining a team where craftsmanship is valued and your work is visible in every finished machine that ships out the door.

What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints to lay out and plan fabrication jobs from start to finish
  • Cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components and sheet metal/pipe fabrications
  • Weld mild and stainless steel using both MIG and TIG processes
  • Operate a full range of shop equipment including drill press, grinder, sander, plasma cutter, band saw, shear, stationary and handheld abrasive saws, and standard hand tools
  • Perform quality checks on your own work and flag any safety or quality issues to management
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout production
  • Support and cross-train with other shop personnel as needed

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on industrial welding and fabrication experience
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on both mild and stainless steel — required, not preferred
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints independently
  • Experience operating standard fabrication shop equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted; physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and crawl in a shop environment
  • Availability to work overtime — up to 50–60 hours per week when required
  • Commitment to safety protocols and PPE compliance at all times

Why This Role

Straight day shift, Monday through Friday, with a company that has been building quality industrial equipment for over a century — plus real overtime opportunity if you want it. This is a stable, long-term position for a tradesperson who takes their craft seriously.
